Outdoor Picnic Sites

The open-air shelter and other picnic sites are perfect for summer parties! There are six picnic sites available, each accommodating up to 200 people. Sites #2, #3, and #4 include access to electricity for a fee, while site #1 offers limited electric access.

Each rental includes four picnic tables, with additional tables available for $8 each. You can also add additional tents to your rental if needed. If RecPlex doesn’t have the size you need, you can use an outside vendor. Please note: if using an outside tent company, a tent permit fee will apply, and the tent must be set up and taken down within your rental time. Portable toilets and sinks are also available for groups of 50+ people.

Wruck Beach Pavilion

The Wruck Beach Pavilion is a cozy indoor venue available year-round—perfect for baby showers, wedding parties, birthdays, and other celebrations. It features a wood-burning fireplace and is kept at a comfortable 70 degrees year-round.

The attached kitchen is available to rent during the off-season (in summer, it serves as the beach concession area). The pavilion offers seating for up to 75 guests. Table and chair setup is available upon request. Seating tables are 60-inch round, and buffet tables are 7½ feet long.

Please note: this rental includes indoor space only. Outdoor picnic areas must be rented separately. Beach access is not included, but discounted beach passes are available with your booking.

Ballfield Pavilion

The Ball Field Pavilion is a great option for summer gatherings, with seating for up to 150 people under the shelter area. During the summer, rental groups have access to 10-12 picnic tables. Please note that the ball diamonds are not included with this rental and must be reserved separately if needed. The indoor area of the pavilion is not available for rental, but public restrooms are conveniently located on the west side of the building. A large playground is also located nearby on the west side; however, it remains open to the public and cannot be reserved for private use.

Ball Diamonds

The fields are open for public use on a first-come, first-served basis. For exclusive use of a field, it must be rented in advance. Rentals are available in three-hour time blocks on weekdays before 3 PM unless there are no scheduled games, in which case additional times may be available.
