Whether you're out for a peaceful walk, a jog on the trails, or just looking to soak up some fresh air, Pleasant Prairie has the green space for you.

With parks, trails, and scenic spots all around, it’s easy to unwind and recharge in our beautiful corner of Wisconsin.

Some local favorites include Ingram Park, Pleasant Prairie Park, and Prairie Springs Park - perfect for everything from a solo stroll to a weekend picnic with friends. So lace up your shoes, grab your water bottle or a picnic, and discover what makes our parks so special!

Ingram Park

Ingram Park covers nearly 31 acres and offers something for everyone. You’ll find a walking trail, a scenic pond (fishing welcome!), a playground, and an arboretum honoring local Vietnam Veterans from Kenosha County. In the winter, the sledding hill becomes a favorite spot for snowy fun.

The park also features a fenced dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. It’s the perfect place to let your pup run off-leash, burn off energy, and meet some new furry friends. And while the dogs play, pet owners can enjoy a little social time too!

Pleasant Prairie Park

Pleasant Prairie Park packs a lot of fun into its 22 acres of recreational space! Kids can burn off energy on the playground, complete with swings and slides, while grown-ups enjoy a game on the tennis or pickleball courts. The park also has convenient restrooms, two parking areas for easy access, and large and small soccer fields.

One of the park’s newer additions is a disc golf course, established in 2022. It’s a fun option for casual play and impressive enhancements continue to be added to keep the course exciting for players of all skill levels.

Prairie Springs Park

Prairie Springs Park spans a stunning 930 acres — plenty of room to explore and enjoy the outdoors. The park features three playgrounds and even has its own archery range for those looking to try something a little different.

Lake Andrea is the heartbeat of the park, offering year-round activities like kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and fishing. You can stroll or bike along the paved path around the lake, or head off into the natural trails that wind through beautiful woods and wetlands. There’s always something to discover at Prairie Springs Park.
