The Pleasant Prairie RecPlex is the largest municipal recreation facility in America
Here in Pleasant Prairie, we’ve got the facilities to bring your sporting event to life. From the possibilities for indoor and outdoor swimming to ice rinks for winter sports and much more, you’ll find exactly what you need to successfully execute your event.
RecPlex
The RecPlex is the largest municipal recreation facility in America. Sports camps and competitions may rent space at the RecPlex, which includes outdoor areas at the adjacent Prairie Springs Park and Lake Andrea. The RecPlex can customize sporting events and meeting packages to fit your needs.
Outdoor Sports Event & Meeting Rentals
- Prairie Springs Park and Ball Fields enhance the athlete and spectator experience with six newly renovated baseball and softball fields, social spaces such as playgrounds/tot lots, picnic areas, a pavilion, and concession stands. Additional outdoor sports spaces include hiking trails, sand volleyball courts, and an archery range.
- Lake Andrea has beach and pavilion rentals as well as direct access to spring-fed Lake Andrea for boating and swimming during warmer months. Fishing is permitted year-round.
- The indoor Wruck Beach Pavilion which is adjacent to Lake Andrea and the sand volleyball courts is available for team meetings, coaches training, and more. Includes kitchen, fireplace, indoor bathrooms.
Indoor Sports Events & Meeting Rentals
- The Athletic Fieldhouse has 60,000 square feet of indoor, multi-use space for events and sports such as volleyball, basketball, and soccer.
- The Aqua Arena can be arranged in Olympic-style 50-meter lanes or 25-meter lanes for swim meets.
- The Ice Arena has two NHL-sized indoor ice rinks for recreational skating, figure skating, broomball, and hockey, with ice skate rentals available as well.
- The Indoor Waterpark includes a 17,000 square foot swimming pool plus an enormous water slide and other water playground equipment.
- LakeView Studio is an indoor special event or meeting space that overlooks Lake Andrea, ideal for 25-150 guests.
- Multi-Purpose Meeting Rooms are also available for groups of up to 30 people for meetings and gatherings.
Additional facilities for sporting events and group outings may be found within the Pleasant Prairie community and neighborhood parks, many of which have ball fields, basketball courts, and hiking trails.
DoubleTree by Hilton
If you want to take things off the field for pre-event check-ins, post-event banquets, or trophy ceremonies, look no further than the DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel is a short seven-minute drive from the RecPlex and has 3,600 square feet of event space to meet your needs. Choose from several setups, including a 500-person ballroom or a boardroom that can accommodate over 100 people. They offer catering too!
